- 1990 Promotion of gun shows at the Lake Charles Civic Center in
Louisiana. - 1992 Opening of Gator Gun and Knife Store. The name came about
because of a character named Gumbo Gator that made appearances at
the gun shows. - 1997 Graduated with Accounting Degree.
- 1997 Opened Tax Plus Agency LLC partnering with Allison Derouen,
Donnie’s daughter. - 2008 Received Real Estate License. After income tax season, April 15th,
Donnie and Allison are Realtors at Century21 Mike D. Bono & Co’s in Lake
Charles at 4410 Nelson Road.
